ROBERT J. CASTLE

ROBERT J. CASTLE is an associate who devotes his practice to the areas of corporate, securities, and commercial law.  He represents a wide variety of clients, ranging from individuals to multi-national financial institutions, in both litigation and transactional matters.

 

Rob participates in the representation of numerous securities industry broker-dealers, investment advisors, hedge funds, and registered representatives in court, and before various regulatory bodies, including the National Futures Association (“NFA”), the Securities Exchange Commission (“SEC”), the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).  In addition, Rob helps counsel and provide transactional services to clients in the formation and operation of their businesses. 

 

Rob graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he earned Dean’s List Honors each semester, received CALI Awards in Business Planning, Legal Writing, and Dispute Resolution courses, and served as Lead Articles Editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal.  During law school, Rob clerked for the Hon. Gerald E. Kubasiak of the Illinois Court of Claims, where he gained extensive litigation experience.  Prior to earning his Juris Doctor degree, Rob received his undergraduate B.A. degree in History and Criminal Justice from Indiana University. 

 

Rob is admitted to practice in Illinois, and has been with the firm since 2014.  Additionally, he is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
