ADAM S. GOLDMAN

ADAM S. GOLDMAN focuses his practice in securities, financial services, corporate, and commercial law.  He represents consumers and financial institutions alike in both litigation and transactional matters.

 

Adam participates in the representation of clients in front of numerous regulatory bodies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, helping guide clients through regulatory actions and investigations. He also represents investment advisors, broker-dealers, and consumers in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration of industry and consumer disputes before various exchanges such as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Additionally, Adam helps counsel clients in a variety of transactional matters, with a focus on the securities and futures industries. Adam has assisted clients in the formation of their businesses, advised registered investment advisors and broker-dealers on compliance issues, and closed on asset sales and mergers.

 

Adam graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he earned Dean’s List Honors each semester and represented Loyola in the National Moot Court competition, one of the most prestigious moot court competitions in the country.  During law school, Adam served as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Ronald F. Bartkowicz in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he gained extensive knowledge of court procedure.  Prior to earning his Juris Doctor degree, Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. 

 

Adam is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. Federal District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Adam joined the firm in mid-2014.
